Crushed Lemon is a new company which endeavours to make a difference to the Environment, and the people of South Africa.
There are two areas to the company, one being the Up Cycling of products and the other being the manufacturing of upmarket Laptop Bags and Fashion Shoppers. The manufacturing of all our products is done locally where we support the smaller factories. Our passion for what we do is what drives us on a daily basis.

Crushed Lemon was started by Kerry Scott and Colleen Deetlefs in August 2011. Due to unforseen circumstance, we were both out of a job in July 2011, and being professional single women with dependents and bills that still had to be paid, decided to start a business together.

Colleen came from a background of Production and Retail Buying and Kerry's was Financial and Sales, with two years being spent gaining experience in the Import and Clothing Industry.
We share the same passion of giving back to the communities and helping make a difference to the Environment. One of our goals is going into the Corporate and Retail Industry and creating an awareness in Upcycling of PVC waste. We have found a fair amount of resistance from some Corporates, but we feel that with some persistance, we could turn this around.

We both love what we do and there are never two days that are the same. Our vision is to be the most preffered and most trusted source for Upcycled Products using Local Industry and the Community.
